Naturetica’s glycerin-based Macertiare produced in accordance with the principles of the Official French Pharmacopoeia. The bud extract is a hydroglycerol-alcoholic extract obtained from fresh buds, shoots, or rootlets of plants that are either wild-harvested or grown without chemicals, in accordance with the balsamic period. The preparation technique involves the use of a solvent consisting of equal parts alcohol and glycerol, resulting in a plant-to-finished product (M.G.) ratio of 1:20. Glycerinated macerates are not used undiluted but are diluted to the first Hahnemannian decimal (DH), meaning that 9 parts of a mixture of water, alcohol, and glycerol are added to 1 part of the glycerinated macerate.
