One of the most beautiful moments of Christmas is undoubtedly giving gifts to the people we love.
Thinking about what might make them happy, what could bring a smile to their face when they open it. But the presentation also plays a significant role: you've surely opened gift packages that were almost too beautiful to unwrap; a package so meticulously detailed that you fell in love with it at first sight.
So, today we recommend some original and eco-friendly ideas for wrapping your Christmas gift packages and leave everyone speechless.
READ THE JOURNAL?
Nowadays, people mainly read news online. But there are still many who keep the tradition of paper newspapers alive. If you are one of those people, an original idea for your gift wrapping could be to use an old newspaper.
For the ribbon choice, you can opt for a color contrast, with a bright red ribbon, or for a more rustic effect, with a thin string of twine. Add a few sprigs of rosemary or some bay leaves, and you're done!
AN OLD SHIRT

Children grow so fast, and we end up with piles of clothes that are now too small and therefore useless. If you need to give chocolates or a nice bottle of wine as a gift, grab an old shirt from your closet.
Simply cut off a sleeve and sew the bottom with a needle and thread. Do you also have a spare tie? Use it to close your eco-friendly package, or alternatively, you can always use a nice colorful ribbon.

FOR A SMALL GIFT...
When it comes to wrapping something particularly small, it can always be a bit challenging. But the perfect solution is right at our fingertips... every day. It's the toilet paper roll.
Once it's finished, don't throw away the cardboard tube! Decorate it as you like with colors, ribbons, or natural decorations; then fold the ends inwards to create a small, charming box.
...OR A RUSTIC EFFECT.
If you visit the bakery these days, remember not to throw away the bread bag. They can become excellent rustic-looking Christmas gift packages. If there are some creases, don't worry: just place the bag under some books for half a day.
Make sure there are no crumbs inside, then decorate it as you wish. Our advice is to add a sprig of herbs or plants found in your garden, to give an even greener effect 😉
