4 Original and eco-friendly ideas for your gift packages

One of the best parts of Christmas is definitely giving gifts for the people we love.
Thinking about what might make them happy, what might bring a smile to their face as they open them. But presentation also plays its big part: you've no doubt happened to open gift packages that are almost too beautiful to unwrap; a package so meticulously detailed that it made you fall in love at first sight.

Here, today we recommend some Original and eco-friendly ideas for wrapping your Christmas gift packages And leave everyone speechless.

DO YOU READ THE NEWSPAPER?

Nowadays people use to read news mainly on online newspapers. But there are still plenty of people who keep the tradition of the printed newspaper. If you are one of those people, an original idea for your gift packages could be to use an old newspaper.

When choosing the ribbon, you can opt for a color contrast, with a bright red ribbon, or for a more rustic effect, with a thin strand of twine. Add a few sprigs of rosemary or a few bay leaves and you're done!

AN OLD SHIRT

Children grow up so fast, and we end up with mountains of clothes that are now oversized, and therefore useless. If you have to give chocolates or a nice bottle of wine fish out an old shirt from the closet.

Simply cut one sleeve and sew the bottom with needle and thread. Do you also have a tie left over? Use it to close your eco-friendly package, or alternatively you can always use a nice colored ribbon.

FOR A LITTLE THOUGHT...

When it comes to packing something particularly small we always find ourselves in a bit of a bind. But the perfect solution can be found at our fingertips-every day. It is the roll of toilet paper.

Once finished, don't throw away the cardboard cone! Decorate it to your liking with colors, ribbons or natural decorations; then fold the ends inward and you have a cute little box.

...OR A RUSTIC EFFECT.

If you drop by the bakery these days, remember not to throw away the bread bag. They can make excellent Christmas gift packages with a rustic effect. If any creases have formed, don't worry: just put the envelope under some books for half a day.

Make sure there are no crumbs in it and then decorate it to your liking. Our advice is to add a sprig of herbs or plants available in your garden to give an even greener effect 😉
