AIAB certifications

Naturetica's AIAB Certifications.

OUR AIAB CERTIFICATIONS

Through the use of recognized certification marks, companies communicate care in the selection of raw materials to consumers, guiding them in an informed purchase.

All Naturetica products in which we declare the absence of gluten we do so in accordance with the European Commission's Implementing Regulation No. 828/2014, analyzing the gluten content in each batch of finished product; in addition, in our dietary supplements we use only vegetable capsules made of hydroxy-propyl-methylcellulose and manufactured according to GMP standards.

To ensure quality, each Naturetica product is examined by specialized bodies for certification.

VEGAN OK

The company that decides to self-certify a product to the standard VEGANOK, operates in accordance with the provisions of the European UNI EN ISO 14021(Type II environmental label carried out without independent third-party certification, by manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers).

VEGANOK is the most widespread standard in Italy that guarantees consumers precise ethical and environmental characteristics. In particular, it guarantees that the individual product using the VEGANOK label (Self-declared Environmental Assertion, 3.1.16) mandatorily present on the label of every registered product, complies with the VEGANOK specification (Explanatory Statement, 3.1.7
The VEGANOK Team conducts an ethical assessment of the company before granting the use of the VEGANOK label. In addition, a check is made on product labels before they are placed on the market. The company undertakes to comply in all its parts with the VEGANOK Ethical Regulations drawn up under the supervision of the Ethics and Scientific Committee of Associazione Vegani Italiani Onlus.

In essence, by purchasing a product with the VEGANOK logo on the label, the consumer will implicitly receive a guarantee from the manufacturer that this product does not contain animal components and has therefore not directly involved the exploitation and killing of animals of any kind.

ORGANIC

Agribusinesses that plan to be part of the organic supply chain must subject themselves to certification according to the EC Regulation 834/2007.
The organic supply chain includes both the primary production of a product and the processing activity.

With regard to primary activity, the Regulations define a production method that takes into account all those forms of cultivation and livestock rearing that tend to enhance and conserve biological production systems, without the use of synthetic chemicals, performing a function of environmental protection and preservation of rural space, making the best possible use of renewable energy and enhancing territorial, environmental and natural resources.

The essential technical principles of organic farming are:

  • The importance accorded to the physical and microbiological aspects of the soil and their improvement
  • Organic-based fertilization, possibly supplemented by mineral inputs, preferably of natural origin
  • Plant protection based on prevention possibly supplemented by treatments carried out with products authorized by specific production standards and according to certification schemes
  • Weed control through cultural practices and mechanical interventions
  • A ban on the use of products and ingredients obtained or derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
  • the limited use of veterinary medicines
  • systems and forms of breeding that respect a life in accordance with the specific needs of individual animal species.

The Regulations consider processing companies, all those that carry out activities in the preparation, packaging, labeling, importing and distribution of organic products.

Processing must be carried out using ingredients from organic farming and reducing the use of additives, possibly limiting the use to those contained in the list authorized by the European regulation.
Appropriate processing and packaging procedures must also be adopted, correctly identifying within the production compartment both organic raw materials and finished products.

BIO ECO COSMETICS AIAB

They are standards owned by AIAB (Italian Association for Organic Agriculture).
AIAB certification marks communicate the adoption of a production methodology that involves the use of raw materials of high quality and low environmental impact. The recognizability of AIAB marks allows consumers immediate identification of certified products.

The main features of the AIAB specifications are as follows:

  • Promote the use of raw materials from organic farming
  • Ensure the absence of raw materials considered "at risk," i.e., potentially allergenic, irritating or with evidence of probable harm to human health
  • Ensure the absence of ecologically questionable raw materials, both in the product itself and in the packaging
  • Ensure the use of packaging with low environmental impact
  • Allow only authorized ingredients to be used
