Tea Tree oil: the answer to inflammatory states

Fever, herpes, cystitis, pharyngitis, and mouth ulcers.
These ailments, more or less bothersome, have one feature in common: they all develop as a result of an attack of varying nature (viral, bacterial, external) on our bodies, and all are related to a process called "phlogosis," or inflammatory state.

Many of what we identify as "diseases" are nothing more than necessary responses of our bodies, forced, in extreme evils, to activate a veritable code red.
Keeping this principle in mind allows us to see inflammatory states not as fires to be put out, but as rescue operations to be facilitated.

The benefits of tea tree oil.

So, for the disease to take its natural course, it is necessary to extinguish the real fuse that lit the fire. And if we could do this naturally, that would be even better, wouldn't it? 🌱

One of nature's best known and most effective anti-inflammatories is undoubtedly Tea Tree Oil-a mixture that takes on the function of a powerful fire extinguisher capable of eradicating bacterial, viral, and fungal infections.

Although the name may be misleading this plant has nothing to do with the tea plant. It is Melaleuca alternifolia, a tree native to Australia and belonging to the Myrtaceae family.

The Oil that is extracted from it is used to treat many ailments of an inflammatory nature: skin diseases (such as blisters, burns, herpes and insect bites); respiratory system diseases (such as asthma, catarrhal bronchitis and coughs); urogenital system diseases (such as vaginitis, cystitis and various itches); and general ailments such as flu, colds or fevers.

Uses and uses of tea tree oil.

We generally always recommend keeping a small bottle of Tea Tree Essential Oil in the house, because it proves to be so useful in so many everyday situations. For example, to treat sore throats, mouth ulcers and oral candidiasis, just dilute 4 or 5 drops in a glass of water and make rinses.

It is also great for pimples and insect bites: a drop of tea tree oil before going to bed will work its magic during the night. In cases of bronchitis, coughs or colds, it can be used to make suffumis, which will help decongest the respiratory tract.

In general it can be used pure, in small amounts, or diluted in Aloe Vera. While for use in water (washings, irrigations and hot baths) just mix 20gtt of essence with a tablespoon of Sweet Almond oil. Otherwise,

for diffusion in the room, you can always pour a few drops into a small pot of boiling water, or a special essence diffuser.

Because of its benefits, Tea Tree Oil lends itself to a variety of uses in herbal medicine. Not surprisingly, many of Naturetica's products contain this valuable extract: such as Cocoa Butter with Calendula and Tea Tree, which soothes and relieves sensitive lips;

or Tea Tree Plus antibacterial ointment, with emollient and re-epithelializing action; or Fresco, our Biodermal Intimate Cleanser, purifying and sanitizing.
